The GSU write to the IG BSF Meghalaya frontier on influx from Bangladesh

Tura, July 19: The Garo student Union (GSU) from South Garo Hills has sent a letter to the Inspector General of the Border security Force, Meghalaya Frontier stetting that influx from Bangladesh to Meghalaya thought the porous border particular from South Garo Hills District.

The GSU asked the IG BSF that they should do their patrolling day and night, the GSU said that in the border with Bangladesh many criminals element are taking place during night time, where kidnapping and cattle lifting took place.

The GSU put a big question mark of the security part weather the patrolling team are performing their duties with heart and soul. The border security team must be tighten up to avoid such lost of the people of South Garo Hills District.

The GSU mention that for many years this region has witness about the problem face by the people of the region, recently there is a cattle lifting from the area which is ten in numbers, the GSU also mention about the kidnapping case about the school teachers in the year 2014.

The GSU urged the BSF who were in the area to take necessary step curb this unwanted crimes in the India Bangla border in South Garo Hills. This letter was sign by the president of the GSU Mr Chuba R Marak Southern Zone.
