Shillong, May 17: The band outfit the Hynniewtrep National Liberation Council (HNLC) in the press statement issued to media houses, the organization warns any unscrupulous person who misused their name during election, said Mr Sainkupar Nongtraw Publicity Secretary.
Mean while the HNLC had communicated to the Government of Meghalaya for appointment of an interlocutor to push forward the peace talks. The organization said that they would also like to make
it clear that in future any feelers sent by the Government of Meghalaya should be free of
any political manipulations.
The Publicity Secretary of the band organsation, said that they do not support any political party nor its ideologies. But any party which can uplift our people, empower them and bring in developmental activities and projects for the welfare of our people should carry on their work with honesty and integration. Said Mr Sainkupar Nongtraw Publicity Secretary of the HNLC.
