Shillong, July 25: The Hynniewtrep Youth Council today resumed their agitation to pressurize the state government for the implantation of Inner Line permit in Meghalaya by strapping black flag banner in the state capital, starting from the Health Minister gate Smti Roshan Warjri from Mawkhar.
The HYC members was seen caring with them black flag and strapped in the main street of Shillong, like Motphran main junction, Khyndailad and many others important place in the state capital, along with the write up in the banners. This black flag is one step of their agitation to put pressure the state Government to implement ILP.
The write up in some of the banners scribe by the HYC, said that “Save Hynniewtrep Land, implement the Inner Line Permit System in Hynniewtrep Land”. There many others write up was written in other banners in the local language. The strapped of banners by the organization was led by the Vice President Mr Donbok along with it members.
The HYC members tag their black flag to vehicles plying in the street of Shillong both private and commercial vehicles, and to people who are passing on the road side by pining black piece of cloth. The HYC has taken this black flag agitation as one step to put pressure on the government to tackle influx in the state of Meghalaya the only mechanism is implementation of ILP.
