Shillong, January 11: The Meghalaya Bharat Scouts & Guides will conclude the National Level Tribal Meet, 2018 for Scouts/Guides/Rovers/Rangers on 12th January, 2018 at its State Headquarters, Pine Mount Ridge, Shillong at 4:00 PM where the Director, Sports & Youth Affairs, Smti M. W. Nongbri will grace the Valedictory function as Chief Guest. During the programme there will be a distribution of prizes for various competitions held during the Meet and the Grand Camp Fire where Tribal Dance, Folk Songs and Traditional Music will be part of the event.
Participants from all over the country who have camped and attended the Meet will also be participating in the Meghalaya Youth Day Run, following which they will head back to the State Headquarters where they will assemble and stride together for the National Integration Tribal Youth Route March to be flagged off by the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills District, Shillong at 11:00 AM.
