Shillong, March 30: The Meghalaya Editors’ and Publishers’ Association (MEPA) expresses its deep shock and sorrow over the sudden demise of Mrs Angelina Riazida Lyngdoh, fondly known as Kong Ria today.
Mrs Lyngdoh as the publisher of U Nongsain Hima has richly contributed to the spread of journalism in Meghalaya and is one of the oldest members of MEPA. Her demise is a great loss to the journalist fraternity, especially MEPA.
MEPA conveys its deepest condolences to the bereaved family especially her sons – Andrew W. Lyngdoh who is the Editor of U Nongsain Hima, George B. Lyngdoh who is the MLA of Umroi Constituency and former General Secretary of MEPA and all the near and dear ones, said Mr. John W Thabah General Secretary MEPA.
