The chief minister of Meghalaya Mr Conrad Sangma expressed shock at the sudden demise of Dr Azad Zaman of MLA of Rajabala, Dr Azad Zaman ia dynamic and young leader of the plain belt of Garo Hills who worked tirelessly for the people.
The Chief Minister conveys his deepest condolences to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace tweeted Dr. Conrad K Sangma in his official tweeter today.
From the Congress MLA Dr Ampareen Lyngdoh Congress MLA from Shilong East tweeted that “With profound shock, sorrow and a sense of deep loss, I am saddened by the premature passing away of our legislator from Rajabala constituency of Meghalaya, Dr Azad Zaman. I will be leaving Shillong shortly for his home to pay my last respects. R.I.P,” tweeted East Shillong MLA, Ampareen Lyngdoh.
Dr Azad Zaman is an MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Zaman had won as the MLA from Rajabala Assembly Constituency from Congress ticket in 2018.
