Shillong, September 11:The Executive Committee of the Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong ka Bri U Hyniewtrep (SNSBH) in their meeting they have decided to meet the Chief Executive Committee (CEM) of the KHADC mr PN Syiem to apprise him about the meeting with the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma on the Village Administration Bill.
The SNSBH will like to know the mind of the Executive Committee of the KHADC on the proposal that if the KHADC recall the VAB before they call the general meeting of the synjuk.
On the proposal of the Shillong Municipal Board (SMB) to enact a law on Property Tax, where people has to pay tax on their land own by them the SNSHB will opposed it. The Synjuk felt that this will make them tenant on their own land that they acquired.
The Synjuk urged all the Legislators to opposed the proposal made by the SMB, the government should drop this proposal, the synjuk claim that this proposal will be brought in the ongoing autumn session, in the press statement issued today from the synjuk said that if the government will go ahead with the proposal the synjuk will have to take different step.
