Tura, March 08: The Solidarity Committee North Garo Hills, has sent the representation to the home minister government of Meghalaya demanding that Mr Dalton P Marak, Superintendent of Police North Garo Hills District be transfer with 48 hours.
The public meeting that was held at Resublepara, Taketchang to protest against the police firing against the three incent person, Mr Janrak Sangma, Mr Milseng Sangma and Tumbul A Sangma at Belpara Songma village, who were coming from Assam after selling their beetle nut.
The SCNGH District in the meeting also decided that police officer should be terminated from service within two days, Compensation for the injured should be released immediately and if the state government did not fulfill their demand the public will resort to agitation.
