Shillong, July 13: The recent news report in section of local print media on “ Pala against any move to ban cow slaughter” has drawn the attention of the state BJP. The party unit feels that the Hon’ble MP is trying to confuse the people of the State by such emotional issue. The BJP Government in last few weeks made no such move to ban cow slaughter in the country.
Understanding fully well that Modi Government’s special attention for North Eastern States including Meghalaya, giving Rs 53,706 cr. for the development of north east, giving special focus on Railways, Air and Road connectivity for North East just within six week of assuming office, people of the State has started to appreciate the BJP for its sincerity. So to divert the attention from the people our MP is un-necessary raking such emotional issue.
The State BJP therefore urge upon Mr Pala to refrain from such cheap politics and cooperate with the central Government to bring more development in the State which he had failed in last five years.(SP News)
