The youths of the state should not remain silent anymore on the constant oppression

Shillong August  7: The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJP youth wing) Meghalaya on Saturday elected new members of the BJYM South West Khasi Hills District with an aim to strengthen the party for the 2018 assemble elections at Indoor stadium Mawkyrwat.

Speaking at the election ceremony, District President BJP South West Khasi Hills Reston Myrthong said, “We need young minds to uplift the society and there is also a need for unity.”

Others speakers at the occasion included Vice president BJP Mawkyrwat Mandal (constituency) Seibor Myrthong , president BJYM Mawkyrwat Mandal(constituency) Mihsalan K.Turnia, president BJYM Ranikor Mandal (constituency) W.Manner etc…

Egenstar Kurkalang state president BJYM Meghalaya strengthen the party by appointing June K.Syiemiong as the new District president BJYM South West Khasi hills including 22 other party workers.

“The youths of the state should not remain silent anymore on the constant oppression from the state government and instead should stand united to bring about a change by electing a government into power in 2018,” Kurkalang said.

The BJYM has also demanded that the state government should immediately construct a two-lane road from Mawphlang till Mawkyrwat and from Mawphlang till Ranikor.
