Shillong, June 20: The former CEM of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council Mr CB Syiem who is holding the post of General Secretary in the Ri Bhoi District Congress Committee (RBDCC) and a member in the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) asked the three Congress MLA from Ri Bhoi District to pull out from the MUA II government led by Dr Mukul Sangma.
Speaking to media person at Shillong Press Club he said that under the leadership of Dr Mukul Sangma the Congress party in the general election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly 2018 will be badly lost the election. He has spoken the issue of changing the Congress Legislature party not only in the District level but also at the MPCC.
He said all this days he was speaking only with the four wall of the Congress party but now he has no alternative but to come out openly in Criticizing his own leader, he Mr CB Syiem, even go to the exten of saying that if this three Congress legislator from Ri Bhoi continued to support this government led by Dr Mukul they ar anti people “they do not love the jaidbynriew”.
He also inform that today as a mark of protest against the style and function of the Chief Minister he has resign from the post of Vice Chairman of the state level public grievances committee. He said “what is the point to be in the committee if the Chief Minister did not listen to what the committee recommended to the government what to be done for the need of the people in the state”.
