Training focused on Social Change that transform the society held at Tura

Shillong, September 15:  With a view to change and transform the society through human motive and behavior, two day innovative and state of the art training programme on Ethics and Development was organized for the district officials, heads of the institutions, NGOs, etc. for West and South West Garo Hills today at SMELC Conference Hall, Dakopgre, Tura.

The programme was organized by Government of Meghalaya and Meghalaya Institute of Governance (MIG), Shillong under the aegis of state’s innovative livelihood promotion programme IBDLP and supported by the District Administration, West Garo Hills Tura. Initiatives of Change (IofC), Panchgani, Maharashtra is the Resource organization for this programme.

The main objective of this two day training programme is to motivate and inspire the individual through the change initiative process and behavioural sciences.  The training programme is designed in a special way for the officials and heads of the institution wherein an individual is exposed to various working ethics, changing work environment, managing change, peer pressure, social change, target achievements, etc.

It may be mentioned that Initiative of Change Panchgani, Maharashtra are a worldwide movement of people of diverse cultures and backgrounds, who are committed to the transformation of society through changes in human motives and behavior, starting with their own.

The training methodology includes classroom session, case studies, role plays, group dynamics, simulation, joint activities and interactive sessions for better understanding of the practical situations.
