Shillong, Oct 07: The organsation “Ka Sur jong ka Bri Hynnietrep” will hold sit in demonstration on the coming Wednesday the 13th Oct 2021 in Shillong where members from all the others district in the Khasi Hills region will participate.
Mr. Marbud Dkhar told the media that this one day sit in demonstration was call to put pressure on the Meghalaya to suspend the police official who are alleged their involvement in the death of late Cheristerfield Thangkhiew.
This decision since the Meghalaya Government has not taken action to suspend the police official who was alleged their involvement in the encounter that led to the death of lat Mr. Cheris on the 13th September 2021.
The sit in demonstration will be held in Shillong, he urged the people to come up on that day to participate in the sit in demonstration call by the organsation. They slow down their agitation due to the sudden demised of their Chairman and many leaders of the organsation are not well.
The organsation were compel to call this agitation since the state government is not listing to the people demand to suspend the police official who were alleged in the killing of late Mr. Cheris.
