Shillong, August 13: Mr Sanbor Shullai-MLA and members of MCIC felicitated and extended financial support to Mr Hitler Khongphai and Mr Myson Sunn who are visually impaired students of Jyoti Sroat Bethany Society, Shillong for an amount of Rs. 30, 000/- (Rupees Thirty Thousand) only in present of the respected Principal Ms Bertha Dkhar.
Mr Khongphai and Mr Sunn are selected from Meghalaya to undergo Vocational Skill Football Training Academy for the blind at Kochi, Kerela, India which will begin in the month of September, 2017. The Training programme will be inaugurated and conducted by Mr Ulrich Pfisterer, who is the coach of German Blind Football Team.
Mr Sanbor Shullai, MLA beside extending financial help, he has also blessed and encouraged both the players to bring laurel and distinction to themselves, to their Institution and to the Meghalaya State as a whole.
