Shillong, October 15: The MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency under the leadership of Mr Sanbor Shullai-MLA, cum Chairman organized a get together with representative of Dorbar Shnong, Village Council, Church Committee, Puja Committee, Mosque Committee, Ashram Committee, Gurudwara Committee, Temple Committee, Monastery Committee, School Committee, Mahila Committee, Seng Treilang ki Kynthei Committee, Clubs Committee, Society Committee.
This was done within 19th South Shillong Constituency held at the RLSSCO Community Hall, Bishnupur Shillong, on 14th of October 2017, which was attended by members of all 141 committees as beneficiaries.The aims and objectives of the get-together is to enhanced and render sustained social and welfare service to general public especially to the poor and the down trodden of the society through the collective and sustain responsibility of all Committees.
Therefore, Mr. Shullai has donated 10,000 pcs of Plastic Chairs and 600 Pcs of Plastic Tables as Community Materials and distributed to all 141Committees, as to enable them to further enhance their social service to the society in their respective areas and localities.The vote of thanks was offered by Miss Lucia Marwein Social Secretary of the MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency.
