The AMKA sent 17 member to participate at the NKC to be held in Guwahati

Shillong, April 05: Seventeen Karatekas of the Association led by Sensei Mingson Rymbai and Sempai Glikerius Buhphang as Coach and Manager will participate in KAI Cadet, Junior & U-21 Years National Karate Championship to be held at Deshbhakta Tarum Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium, Guwahati from 5th – 7th April, 2019. Gold medallist from this Championship will also be selected to represent India in the upcoming AKF Cadet, Junior & U-21 Yrs Championship to be held at Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia from 26th – 28th April, 2019.

The names of the Karatekas are, Elisheba Khongwar (Individual Kata Cadet), Daiakyntiew Wahlang (Kumite Cadet – 47Kg), Wandahunshisha Mawblei (Kumite Cadet – 54Kg), Careenia Rapthap (Kumite Cadet +54Kg), Eva Gracia Kharumnuid (Kumite Junior -48Kg), Felicia Nongdhar (Kumite U-21 Years – 50Kg) , Ankita Koch (Kumite U-21 Years – 61Kg & Individual Kata), Barisha Kharbani (Kumite U-21 Years – 68Kg).

Davyson Kharkongor (Individual Kata Cadet), Teiborlang Lapang (Kumite Cadet – 52Kg), Ialamphang Kharkongor (Kumite Cadet – 63Kg), Ainamlang Lyngdoh (Kumite Cadet +70Kg), Albert Jyrwa (Kumite Junior – 55Kg), Jeremy K Kurkalang (Kumite Cadet – 61Kg & Individual Kata), Josanky Rympei (Kumite U-21 Yrs -55Kg), Garry Daniel L. Mawlong (Kumite U-21 Yrs -67Kg) & Freddy B. Syiem (Individual Kata U-21 Yrs). Sensei Donboklang Lyngdoh, Sensei Arjun Sewa and Sensei Linza Fenny Syiem has also been appointed as Technical Official to officiate in the said Championship.
