Shillong, April 13: The Chief Executive Member of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council Mr Titosstarwell Chyne today gave a cheque of Rs.5 lakh to the Chief Minister Mr Conrad K Sangma in his office chamber as a contribution to the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF).
Speaking to Media after meeting the Chief Minister Mr Chyne said that the amount was donated by the 30 members of the KHADC, along with him the other MDCs who were present together are Mr Pyniaid Sing Syiem, Mr Mitchell Wankhar, Mr Fantin Lakadong and Smit Grace Kharpuri.
The President of the Meghalaya Olympic Association Mr John Kharshiing said that from the Association in their small way they have contributed Rs. 50,000/- only to the Chief Minister relief Found.
In the meeting they have talk about the National Games 2022, in the present of the Sport Minister Mr Banteidor Lyngdoh, where the president of the MOA express that they will discussed in detail after the COVID-19 subside.
