Shillong, October 23: The State BJP has fielded Smenlang Kyndait to contest the MDC by-poll to JHADC from 7-War east MDC constituency. His candidature was declear by the state president Mr Sibun Lyngdoh.
Addressing the gathering, the party president exuded confidence that in the MDC by-polls, the electorates would give BJP a chance to serve them. He further claimed that the MDC by-polls would be an acid test for the Congress which is ruling the State for almost a decade.
Others who spoke in the occasion included Sri Devid Kharsati , Edmund Sangma , Ernest Mawrie and Smt. Bianca Kyndiah.
