Maligaon, March 26: To clear extra rush of passengers during ensuing Holi festival, it has been decided to run one special train between Kolkata and Guwahati stations.
The train will run for one trip each from Kolkata and Guwahati stations. It has also been decided to extend the service of MEMU passenger special train running between Sonpur and Katihar till further advice.
Train No. 03129 Kolkata – Guwahati Holi Special will run on 26-03-2021 (Friday) leaving Kolkata at 21-40 hours to reach Guwahati at 18-30 hours on next day.
In return direction, Train No. 03130 Guwahati – Kolkata Holi Special will run on 27-03-2021(Saturday) leaving Guwahati at 21-00 hours to reach Kolkata at 20-20 hours on next day. The train will have AC-2 tier, AC-3 tier, sleeper class and second class accommodation for passengers.
On the other hand, services of Train No. 03368/03367 Sonpur – Katihar – Sonpur MEMU passenger special train, running between Katihar and Sonpur have been extended with existing stoppages, timings and days of run from 01-04-2021 till further advice.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in Railway’s website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway. Passengers are requested to see these details before undertaking their journey.
