Shillong, Jan 06: The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution held a meeting with the Department of Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Legal Metrology Department, Government of Meghalaya and Meghalaya State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (MSCDRC) on 6th January, 2023 in Shillong.
The meeting was chaired by the Chairperson of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Smti L Chatterjee in the presence of Dr Shakil P Ahammed, Principal Secretary, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Shri Pravin Bakshi, Commissioner Secretary, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs among other senior officials of the state government.
Later, the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Food, Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution also visited FCI – Food Storage Depot (FSD), Shillong.
