Shillong, August 09: The Silver Jubilee Celebration of the Crèche run and manage by The Seng Treilang ki Kynthei, Madan Laban-Riat Laban was held today at Madan Laban. Shillong.
The Silver Jubilee celebration begins by the Free Health Camp held on 5th August, 2017, where more than 160 beneficiaries were benefited out of this Health Camp in their various kinds of health problem and the free health camp was inaugurated by Shri Ricky Shullai, Local MDC.
The Closing Ceremony of the Silver Jubilee celebration was held today in which Baby Show Competition was participated by 14 Participants and the Winners are First Prize goes to Baby Aloma Toi of Riat Laban and the Second Prize goes to Baby Glodia Kharmalki of Madan Laban, followed by Felicitation Ceremony where former member of the Seng Treilang Ki Kynthei, Smti Phidalia Kharkongor and Smti N Mawlong were felicitated and the first crèche workers Smti Rose Mary Ryngksai and Smti Artila Sohtun were felicitated for their sincere, dedicated and novel service rendered by them for the welfare of the crèche and general public.
The celebration programme was attended by Shri Ioster Sunn, Rangbah Shnong Madan Laban-Riat Laban, Shri Rupert Green Marbaniang, Secretary Dorbar Shnong Madan Laban-Riat Laban, Shri Hamlet Rani, President Madan Laban Sports & Cultural Club, Shri Oliver Myrphet, President Seng Samla Madan Laban-Riat Laban and huge numbers of invitees and residents of the locality.
The Chief Guest of the celebration, Shri Sanbor Shullai, MLA during his speech has congratulate and lauded the sustain efforts of all the founder and present members of the Seng Treilang ki Kynthei for their hard work and dedicated contribution towards the Nobel service rendered by them to the people at large and he also informed that he has earmark an additional amount of Rs. 2 Lakhs Scheme for the fully completion of the room extension and renovation of the crèche house as requested by the Seng Treilang ki Kynthei as per their letter submitted to him recently and thereafter, the Silver Jubilee Cake was cut by Shri Sanbor Shullai, MLA
The Chairperson cum President of the Seng Treilang ki kynthei, Smti Mertina Rani presided over the function and the vote of thanks was given by Smti Battinora Rani, Genl Secretary and prayer service was given by Mrs N Dkhar, Member
