Shillong, February 13: The Border Security Force Jawan showing honesty and good gesture returned an abandoned bag which was lying on a pavement at BSF Campus Umpling Shillong.
Constable Narenda Kumar from 123 Bn, who found a suspicious bag informed to control room at BSF Meghalaya frontier. The BSF dog squad and the bomb detection squad, immediately reached at the spot, cordoned off the area and carried out a thorough search.
A bag was recovered from the spot which was containing cash worth Rs. 20,000 and some important documents. After scrutinizing the documents the Border Security Force authorities ascertained the owner and later handed over the abandoned bag to Mr Anoop K in the presence of Dr. Sabu A Joseph, Deputy Inspector General and Principal Staff Officer of BSF Ftr HQr, Meghalaya.
Mr Anoop K was very thank the BSF authority and constable Narenda Kumar for his honesty in handing over his official bag with cash back to him. Mr. Anoop. K, Nezone Pies and structures, G.S. Road, Guwahati, Assam frequently visited BSF campus Umpling for his official purpose and thankful to BSF authority for seeking his lost documents and money.
