Shillong, April 13: The collation executive Committee in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council let by the HSPDP in which Ardent M Basaiawmoit is the Chief Executive Members may see the change of guard after the MP election result is declared.
The United Democratic Party (UDP) which is one of the collation partner in the executive were not happy with the HSPDP and KHNAM for not supporting their candidate Paul Lyngdoh in the MP Election which concluded on the 9th of this month as part of the second phase to the 16th general election to the house of the people.
The UDP do not want to withdraw from the Executive Committee but they want change of leadership, since the two political parties HSPDP and KHNAM is official supported an independent Candidate Rev PBM Basaiawmoit.
The MDC from Mawlai PT Sawkmie who wont the election from the KHNAM who was included in the Executive Committee as Executive Members is not at all please with the portfolios that was allocated to him.(SP News)
