Shillong, August 25: The deputy Chief Minister Mr Rowell Lyngdoh and the Health Minister Mr AL Hek today resign as cabinet minister from the council of Ministers headed by the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma.
By the resignation of these two cabinet Ministers has paved the way for the Chief Minister to reshuffle his ministry. The swearing in Ceremony of the two ministers will be held tomorrow at the Raj Bhavan at 11.30 AM in the morning.
Speaking to SP News Agency, The Deputy Chief Minister Rowell Lyngdoh and the former health minister Mr AL Hek, they said today they have sent their resignation letter to the Chief minister Dr Mukul, that they have reign as cabinet minister from the council of ministers.
Inside sources from the Congress party said that the swearing in ceremony will be of two ministers to fill the vacant in the council of ministers, and Likely the former speaker Mr Martin M Danggo and the government Chief Whip Mr Roni V Lyngdoh in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly are to be inducted in the council of ministers.
