Shillong, May 22: The 900 police personal from the 6th MLP Bn who were posted in the National Capital New Delhi were annoyed since they have not got their daily allowances for almost six month. They were supposed to get at the rate of Rs.8000/- to Rs.9000/- in a month.
When SP News Agency come to know, that the 900 personal posted in the national capital New Delhi who were from the 6th MLP Battalion have not got their allowances, contacted the Mr Nishan Krishna Commandant of the 6th MLP Bn to get the clarity why there is a delay in paying the police personal allowances who were posted in the National Capital.
The Commandant who is looking after the 6th MLP Battalion, Mr NIshan Krishna said that, with the implementation of the Fith Pay Commission for the state government employees, the commission forgets to mention in the report about the allowances of the 900 police personal posted in Delhi.
From the office of the 6th MLP Bn has taken up the issued with the home department of the state Government, and to rectified the anomalies, the government has issued the notification to include the police personal who were posted in Delhi, the notification was issued on 7th May 2018 and from the office have prepared all the bills within 4 days and it was submitted to the treasury on 11th May 2018.
From the office of the 6th MLP Battalion has taken up with the Director Treasury to expedite the work in releasing the allowance of the police personal posted in Delhi. The Commandant said that the police personal posted in Delhi from the 6th MLP Battalion with get half of the allowance along with the salary of this month and the arrears will be clear in the next Month.
The Commandant of the 6th MLP Bn Mr Krishna said that, it is understand that the police personal will be annoyed with the delay in getting their allowance, but is not a fact that the office triad to delay in paying the allowance as alleged. The office has taken up the issued with the government to rectified the anomalies which is clear at present.
