Shillong, March 28: Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall with Thunderstorm/lightning and gusty wind activity over Meghalaya on 30th , 31st of March and 01st April 2024. Significant Meteorological features: A cyclonic circulation lies over south Assam and neighbourhood and extends upto 1.5 km above mean sea level.
The trough from northwest Bihar to southeast Assam extended upto 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked. Under its influence of these system, Heavy rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning is likely to occur on 30th March 2024.
Heavy to Very Heavy rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 30 to 40 Kmph is likely to occur on 31st March 2024 and Heavy rainfall with thunderstorm and lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 30 to 40 Kmph.
