Shillong, March 19: Indian Metrological Department stated that Significant Meteorological features, the cyclonic circulation over east Assam & neighborhood at 1.5 km above mean sea level has become less marked.
A trough runs from Jharkhand to south Assam at 0.9 km above mean sea level. Under its influence light to moderate rainfall is likely to occur at few places accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning with gusty winds of 30 to 40 Kmph which is likely to occur at isolated places over Meghalaya on 20 March 2024.
