The leading emergency services platform is now committed to equipping the hilly state with 5G smart-connected ambulances, a first-of-its-kind and game-changer approach in taking emergency services to another level in the region.
With its innovative platform, Medulance aims to reduce response and real-time patient monitoring while being shifted to hospitals in the challenging landscape of the state, which often witnesses a lot of rains and landslides.

Having their local partner as EDNA Enterprise, the latter has helped the government in crisis after GVK EMRI left and managed the maintenance and operations of ambulances, and is still continuing to do so.
Meghalaya, with its rugged terrain and sometimes remote locations, presents unique challenges for emergency responders. It is not uncommon for the nearest hospital to be hours away in certain areas. Recognizing the pressing need for a comprehensive emergency management system in the state, Medulance has boldly bid for the tender of “108” and aims to bring a new era of emergency services to Meghalaya.
In their endeavor to serve the wonderful people of Meghalaya, the company has submitted a meticulously planned proposal to the government. “Medulance’s goal is to deploy a fleet of 5G smart connected ambulances, upgrading GPS-enabled ambulances, to the entire state, as soon as possible. This initiative will bring cutting-edge technology to the forefront of emergency response and improve the chances of saving lives in the challenging landscape of Meghalaya. Right now, we envision making Meghalaya the first state to have 5G smart emergency response,” says Mr. Pranav Bajaj, Co-Founder, Medulance Healthcare.
Extensive planning has gone into Risk and Crisis Management, Call Flow of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), absorbing existing manpower, and ensuring uninterrupted operations in the state. This includes the identification and preparation of backup locations, generators, staffing, and network providers to ensure reliable and consistent service.
At its core, Medulance is determined to build the right emergency infrastructure for Meghalaya based on its extensive experience, state-of-the-art technological innovations, and unwavering commitment to saving lives. They aspire to see the selection of the right bidder who can provide the emergency services that the people of Meghalaya truly deserve.
“Medulance is committed to integrating its state-of-the-art technology with the current ambulance fleet and is prepared to add more ambulances to ensure comprehensive coverage, leaving no area or individual behind. In pursuit of this goal, real-time patient data will be shared with the hospital before the ambulance arrives, and real-time patient monitoring by doctors at the command center will be implemented to guarantee the highest quality emergency response,” says Mr. Ravjot Singh Arora, Co-Founder, Medulance Healthcare.
Medulance invites the support and collaboration of the community, stakeholders, and government agencies as they embark on this mission to transform and elevate emergency services in Meghalaya.
