Shillong, August 06: The Director of Meghalaya Health Services Dr Aman War inform that from the 28 containment areas declared by the state Government in Shillong City, 10 localities has been lifted and 18 others were converted into Micro Containment Areas.
The containment areas that are still in place are the BSF Campus Umpling and the BSF Campus Mawpat, these two areas still remain as containment area. The Government has taken this decision.
The decision taken by the government is to see that the people reside in thus are should not suffer, the intention is to reduce the area and will be declare containment area only thus building ore adjacent building when feel necessary as containment area in the future.
