Shillong, July 19: Today at around 2.30 am, Police signaled one Ford Ikon vehicle to stop during Naka checking at Mawlai, Shillong. However, the vehicle refused and sped away. Police chased the vehicle and later it was found abandoned near N.M Hotel at Mawiong, Shillong.
In another incident today at about 4.45 pm, unknown miscreants (6/7) broke into the shop of Shri Parash Bopara near Cantonment BH, Shillong and stole two cell phones valued around Rs.16,000/-. The police is investigating both the cases.(SP News)
