Shillong, March 29: The department of Radiodiagnosis at NEIGRIHMS is celebrating a significant achievement as Dr.Humsheer Singh Sethi, a Senior Resident, has been awarded the prestigious Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiology (FRCR) by the Royal College of Radiology (RCR) in London.
Dr. Sethi is among a select few radiologists internationally to receive this fellowship. The FRCR examinations are recognized as one of the top three most challenging fellowship exams globally and are typically awarded to radiologists practicing in the United Kingdom. The FRCR signifies the highest level of expertise in diagnostic radiology.
Dr. Sethi underwent a rigorous and demanding training program adhering to the Royal College’s stringent standards over a two-year period. Demonstrating exceptional dedication, Dr. Sethi has chosen to forgo opportunities to work in the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK and is committed to serving the people of Meghalaya at NEIGRIHMS.
