Shillong, June 01: The GVK EMRI, Meghalaya organized the second phase of American Heart Association (AHA), Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) at its Emergency Medicine and Learning Center Institute at Shillong on the 30th May 2017 to 1st June 2017.
A total of 35 participants from various Hospitals and Institute like NEIGRIHMS, Nazareth Hospital, Bethany Hospital and Martin Luther Christian University attended the training. The training emphasized on the current guidelines on Essential Cardiac Care and Resuscitation concepts.
The American Heart Association 2015 guidelines were introduced and this is the second batch to have received this updated training in Meghalaya. All participants successfully completed the training and a certification ceremony was conducted immediately after the training.
