Tura, August 13: The Meghalaya police today made a break through when they were successfully raided the GNLA camp in South Garo Hills, in this raid the police managed to arrest five cadres of the militants from the campy after a brief encounter.
Sources said that from this five militant who were trapped one was injured and he was taken to civil hospital Tura for treatment but he succumbs to injury due to excessive blood loss. The other four are in the police net.
The operation in on to flash out the militant from the area, few days back the police has managed to destroy main camp of the GNLA at the Duram Hills.
