Shillong, Feb 20: Prof. S. K. Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor, NEHU who is also a Member of the Board of Governors, IIT, Guwahatiis pleased to announce that an MOU was signed between NEHU and IIT Guwahati on on 18th February, 2020.
The MOU envisages the fulfilling of the following objectives namely IITG academic support to NEHU, internship program at IITG, joint degree programs, IITG faculty support to NEHU and vice-versa, short term training programs, guidance in infrastructure development, joint twinning programmes, creation of centre of excellence and joint short term programs and workshops.
This MOU would also enable NEHU faculty and students to explore possibilities of pursuing their Masters and Doctoral programs at IITG on full time basis as per existing IITG norms. Further, this MOU would facilitate co-operation for development of new areas of research and development (R&D) at NEHU.
