Maligaon, November 13: The All Assam State Ranking Tennis Tournament organised by the Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Association (NFRSA) (Tennis Wing) got under wayat NFRSA Lawn Tennis Complex, Maligaon, Guwahati today.
The sporting event was inaugurated by General Secretary/NFRSA &Chief Personnel Officer/Industrial Relation of N.F. Railway,ShriSasankaSarmah, in presence of other officials of NFRSA.
The tournament will consist of event category as under 10, 12, 14 & 18 years group for both boys and girls, Men’s Double, Veteran Men’s Double (above 45 years) and Mixed Double (Open).
Participants fromall over Assam will take part in this tournament. Around 200 players from all over the state and 05 officials are participatingin the event which includes both men and women category.The five-day long tournament will be concluded on 17th November, 2023.
