Shillong, March 29: The Chairman of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) Mr B Marak today admits the No Confidence Motion move by Mr R Sangma of the opposition, against Executive committee led by Mr Denang T Sangma as CEM.
The Chairman of the GHADC asked the members of the house to rise on their seat in support of the NC move by Mr R Sangma congress MDC. Since the members who supported the NC having the request numbers the Chairman admits the NC and fixed tomorrow, 30th March 2017 to take up the NC.
In the house of 29 members, the NPP led collation Executive committee has the total numbers of 20 and the opposition is 9 in numbers. The NPP 11, the GNC 3, the BJP 5, Congress 7, Independent 3. The house will discussed and the voting will be taken up tomorrow.
