Shillong, May 25: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma today met the Governor Mr V. Shanmuganathan at the Raj Bhavan, sources said that in the meeting they have discuss only on the Prime Minister visit to the state on the 27 of this month.
The Chief Minister of Meghalaya Dr Mukul Sangma will meet the Governor Mr V. Shanmuganathan this evening at Raj Bhavan tentatively around 7 PM . This meeting assumes significant as dissident within the congress party has demanded from their high command for his removal as leader of the Congress Legislature party.
The meeting is likely that the Chief minister will apprise the Governor on the political turmoil in the state, the intention of Chief Minister is not known, he may likely step down or suggest other alternative solution to solve the problem.
