Shillong, December 26: The Forever Young organization together with the officer of the Chief Electoral Officer, Meghalaya will organize the 20th midnight swim on the 31th December 2016 to welcome the New Year 2017.
This year the midnight swim will be held at the Saw Aiom Swimming Poll, Shyiap locality, the objective of holding this midnight swim this year is to encourage young genuine voters to take part in the electoral process of the country.
This year 100 blocks of ice weighing 50 Kg each will be put inside the pool to make the event more challenging. From the Forever Young organization has asked all thus people who are participating in the event are requested not to take any intoxicants drink before the event, otherwise the event will be lost.
