Shillong, Naiwieng 01: The Laban Sports Club wishes to extend its sincere garatitude to the Raid Laban Dorbar, Dorbar Shnongs, Seng Kynthei, Seng Samla and sports clubs under Raid Laban and supporters of Laban SC who have continously supported the Club’s football team in its efforst to climb up the sporting ladder and secure qualification to the Shillong Premier League 2018 and win the Champion’s Trophy of the 1st Division 2018.
The Club would like to mention it’s extreme gratitude to the Chief Patron and Advisor, Shri Sanbor Shullai, MLA, and Shri Ricky Shullai, MDC, who have extended their unstinsting support to the Club to the best of their abilities.
The journey has been long and ardous but the silver lining is that there were many who were committed and believed in the purpose and aims of the Club and to them we express our utmost gratitude.
The players who sacrificed many other enticing offers to lend their services to the Club deserve an extra mention and we believe that their journey as footballers will move ever onwards.
The Club thanks also goes to the office bearers, executive committee members and team officials for their part in making this, an almost ampossible dream a reality.
The Club, however, regrets that, despite so much love, support and care from one and all, the Rangbah Shnong of Laban failed to be a part of this, our most momentous moment.
