Shillong May 28: Martin Luther Christian University through its Department of Allied Health Sciences, today conducted a free Health Camp in Puriang, Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills, on May 27, 2017.
The health camp held not only consultations with doctors but tests were also conducted by the students from MSc, BSc, and Diploma courses, from the Department of AHS. The test included Blood Test, BMI, Vital Signs, Diet and Nutrition counseling and also Eye screening which was done by students from Bansara Eye Care Centre.
An approximate of 660 residents, both young and old, came to avail the facilities of the health camp, which incuded the males, females and the children of the village.
