Shillong, October 31: The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Meghalaya State in its meeting held at its office situated at Kench’s Trace, Shillong decided to Nominate Mr Ricky Shullai as an NCP candidate for the 15-Mawprem-Laban constituency for the upcoming bye-election of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council.
The meeting unanimously decided the candidature of Mr Ricky Shullai as the controversy of the dual post is still unclear. The meeting further decided that the entire party members shall start a full-fledged campaign to ensure that its candidate comes out victorious.
