The survey for border fencing in the Indo- Bangladesh Border begin in Jaintia Hills

Jowai, September 23: The survey for the border fencing along the Indo-Bangladesh border in Jaintia Hills District resume today from the District administration of West Jaintia Hills District and this survey will continued till they complete.

The area that the survey team will undertake are in the village of Amjalong, Muktapur, Amsku, Nongkhen,Raijalong, Tamabil and Dawki, the survey team comprise also the official of the NBCC and the BMC.

The survey started on the 22th and they will conclude on this 27th of this month in all the above mention villages. In the survey they will also enumerate all the agricultural properties in the above villages.

In this survey all land owners and official from the agricultural department were also asked to be along with the survey team.
