Shillong, June 18: Today some people who were passing the Manipuri Mandir at Pomdiem found that on the road side old 500 Indian currency denomination was spreading on the road eleven bundle which is amounting to Rs.5.5 lac.
Speaking to SP News Agency the Superintendent of Police Shillong City Mr Vivek Syiem, confirm that “yes it is true and the amount is Rs.5.5 lac”. The police have seizes the money and they will investigate on the matter.
From other sources, told that the money was found at around 7.30 Pm today, the money was spreading on the road side. It is strange that demonetization are still hunting some people in the state capital Shillong.
