Shillong, July 02: The shop owner of the M/s J B Textile lodged a complaint with the Sardar police station that at around 1.30 pm, while Shri Raju Malakar of M/s JB Textiles, Police Bazar, Shillong, was carrying cash Rs. 2 lakhs to deposit in a Bank at Police Bazar, four unidentified miscreants looted the amount and fled away.
In another’s incident Mr Ashim Dey lodged a complaint that on july 1st during night time , unknown miscreants in their attempt to commit theft vandalized an SBI ATM at NH-44 near Malki Point, Shillong.
Mri Madan Lal Sinha, Branch Manager, SBI Selsella Branch west Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on June 27 night, unknown miscreants broke into the bank and attempted to break the lock of the strong room.
