Shillong, April 29: The GVK EMRI organized the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advance Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training at its Emergency Medicine Learning Center Institute at Shillong.
In total 50 participants from various hospitals like Nazareth, NEIGRIHMS and Downtown Hospitals we trained. The training emphasized on the current guidelines on Essential Cardiac Care and Resuscitation concepts.
The AHA 2015 Guidelines were introduced and this is the first batch to have received this updated training in Meghalaya. A certification ceremony was conducted immediately after the training.
