Shillong, May 19: Lieutenant General MK Unni, AVSM, VSM, PHS, Director General Medical Services (Army) and Colonel Commandant, visited Military Hospital Shillong and the ECHS Polyclinic on 18 May 2016 and interacted with the patients.
The General Officer lauded efforts put in by the hospital for modernization of health-care facilities, efficient biomedical waste management and a well trained paramedical staff. Complimenting the good work done by Military Hospital & ECHS Polyclinic Shillong, in providing comprehensive health care facilities to troops, dependents and veterans, the General Officer called upon them to uphold the finest traditions of Armed Forces Medical Services.
He also acknowledged support of local administration and medical institutions for rendering all assistance to the Military Hospital.
