Shillong,September 13: India’s leading electro pop and dance-rock band ‘Best Kept Secret’ formerly known as ‘One Nite Stand’ enthralled music lovers in Shillong on September 8 and 9, at two separate venues in the city capital.
‘Best Kept Secret’ a Bangalore based Rock band is already quite popular with the young folks and is known for their lively and energetic performances.
Describing their unique experience in the pine city of Shillong, lead vocalist and bass guitarist of the four-member electro-pop band, Behram Siganporia said, “Making the people of Shillong dance and sing to our music was highly satisfying. We thank them for being an important part of our job. Surely, we will back soon to relive the magic and meet our big Shillong family again.”
Stating that before they arrived in Shillong everyone told them that the band members will love the place and that the people of Shillong will love their music, he said, “Those things which have been informed to us were all true and now we have fallen in love with the city.”
The Bangalore base band spent 5 days in the pine city, playing two concerts at separate venues.“We have spent a few days in the city playing 2 concerts for the most friendly and loving audience that we have seen in the country and it was an amazing experience,” he said.
The band during their stay in Shillong also played at their friends Sanboklang Thangkhiew’s wedding party.Informing that the two concerts were a great success, he said “But more importantly, we made some very good friends in Shillong.”
He added, “We enjoyed the food, the weather and the beautiful culture. It was great to hear English music in various parts of the city – whether it was a shop or the gym, everyone has good taste in music.”
