Shillong, December 02: A Maruti Alto ML04B – 3704 coming from Jowai and while it was travelling on the Shillong by-pass road hit a truck from behind. The driver along with a co-passenger sustained injuries during the collision which happen at Lumdiengan under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mawryngkneng helped in shifting the driver, Damanme Bang 26years male and Lim Shadap 36years male were taken to NEIGRIHMS, Shillong. The incident happened at 1:50 A.M. today.
A Maruti Van ML04A – 7078 travelling towards Khliehtyrshi from Syntu Ksiar was involved in a collision with another vehicle at Riat Turim under Thadlaskein Block, West Jaintia Hills District. The driver of the Maruti van, Lasangki Rymbai 40years male sustained injuries when the collision happened and has been shifted by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Jowai to Ummulong PHC and then to Shillong Civil Hospital.
In a hit and run case, Nirala Bibi 30years female sustained injuries after she was hit by a moving vehicle at 15th Mile under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on the 1st of December, 2016 at 2:16 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Byrnihat helped in shifting Nirala Bibi to Byrnihat PHC.
