Shillong, Janauary 29: After two days Gate Dharna that was held by the Meghalaya SSA Schools Association (MSSASA) Central Body , that wan son the 24th and 25th January , 2017 infront NIOS Office Shillong under the leadership of Aristotle C. Rymbai President and H.M.Marbaniang Secretary for protest against the failure of the NIOS to rectify the faults on Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) result batch 2013, It was informed that association shall start with the 2nd phase of it protest against the NIOS.
The MSSASA felt that, since the NIOS is an Autonomous Institution under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) Government of India and the Chairman of NIOS Noida Uttar Pradesh Dr. Chandra Bhushan Sharma cannot fulfill their demands , it was decided by the teachers which are from different category SSA, Ad hoc , Deficit, Govt and 4th Teachers will launch a 6 (six) days letter campaign to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his personal whatsapp application starting from Monday January 30 to February 4 and will request the Prime Minister to intervene in the matter.
The teachers in their letter to the prime minister asked Mr Narendra Modi to direct the Minister of HRD Prakash Javadekar cum President of National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) society and the Chairman of the NIOS to take up the matter seriously and rectify the anomalies created by the NIOS on D.El.Ed November Exams 2015 result at earliest as possible because the anomalies on the result has put the Trainees in difficult situation to avails the revised Remuneration announced by the State Mission Authority Meghalaya Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SEMAM,SSA) especially for SSA teachers.
All teachers vowed to inform the Prime Minister through this campaign so that the grievances faced by the teachers (trainees) of Meghalaya could be resolved in a time bound manner , MSSASA President Aristotle C. Rymbai added.
