Such atrocities of Police on Innocent Civilian found to be unjustified and clear violation of the provision of the Laws. The district administration as well as Government of Meghalaya not sincere to even grant monetary assistance to the victims. Till now only Rs.20.000.00 was released to each family. Justice would have already been delivered if the Victims belonged to some VIP’s relatives but since the victims are from poor families, all the necessary assistance has been denied.
